In his post match press conference Jürgen Klopp suggested that football may not have been the best sport to play on FC Sion's frozen pitch.
Liverpool's 0-0 draw away in Sion was actually their first draw in 10 games and it completed the Europa League group stage - leaving Liverpool top.
The reds will now play either one of the runners up from the 11 other Europa League groups - or one of four sides who exited the Champions League this week as third place group finishers.
There is little time for respite for Klopp and his men - after arriving back in Liverpool the club must now prepare for Sunday's visit from West Brom.
