Manager Notes
In tonight's match programme the Liverpool boss said:
I would like to acknowledge the brilliant contribution from our supporters to the result we had at the weekend (against West Brom).
They were really on it and lifted the players when they needed lifting.
It might be a late night for them this evening, we do not know.
But I’ve seen here before that when a game goes beyond the 90 and into extra time they keep the energy levels high and the atmosphere special. I’m sure they’ll play their part well.
The game will be decided tonight with the game progressing to penalties if required.
